

Richard “Dick” Kuk aged 84, went to his heavenly home on May 6, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to John and Helen Kuk. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Thelma (Franks) Kuk, and 4 of his siblings, Irene Clancy, John Kuk II, Lorraine Callen, and Raymond Kuk Sr. Surviving are his sister Rose Kuk; his children, Stephanie (Phillip) Allen and Michael (Roberta) Racine; his grandchildren, Angela (Daniel) Crow, Amy (Scott) Rowland, Andrea (Jeremy) Eggleston, and Steven Allen; his great-grandchildren, Skylar, Shiane, Sydnee, and Sawyer Crow, Wyatt, Wynter, Wyla, Wexly, Wayden, and Weston Eggleston. Richard was an active member of the American Legion, West Walker Sportsman Club and Sheet Metal Workers Union. Following his graduation from Union High School in 1951, he enlisted to serve his country as a member of the United States Air force. He then worked in the sheet metal industry until he retired at the age of 62. He enjoyed spending his winters in Mission, TX, fishing (especially in Canada), hunting, camping, bowling, reading to his grandkids, listening to country music, playing baseball and strumming his guitar. Please join the family in celebrating Richard’s life at a visitation scheduled for Friday, May 19 from 10-11am with an 11am Service at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
