The Rock ‘n’ Roll Grandpa. Anytime Steve’s ears caught tune of The Rolling Stones, he was sure to be rocking an ear to ear smile – and he’d be just as sure to share it with you. He loved his rock and roll almost as much as he loved his granddaughters. Steve had a gift and a pride in taking part in his granddaughters lives, he was patient and kind and lovingly involved. From art projects, time at the chess board, or simple trips to the park, Steve adored these moments. He loved them dearly. Steve cherished these times all the greater with his loving wife, Jane, of which they shared 44 years together. He also loved the great times when he would travel to northern Michigan, especially to his favorite destination; Copper Harbor. Steve enjoyed when life afforded him the moments to be beachside; including on Grand Haven as well as on Naples beach in Florida, where Jane and he owned a condo for 23 years. He was everyone’s best friend, a man of kind strength and genuine good times. He loved his wife and his family. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Grandpa will be missed by many.
