Thomas Gerard Dubicki

Tom was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of not one, but two Purple Hearts during his time of service. A graduate of Aquinas College, longtime civil servant of the United States Postal Service and lifetime resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was born and raised.

Tom is survived by his wife Sue, married for 50 years and two children - his son, Steve (Becky) Dubicki and daughter, Anne Haney. The greatest joys of his life were his four grandchildren - Haylie Haney, Braylen Haney, Zachary Dubicki and Evan Dubicki. He is also survived by his sister Margaret (Peg) Latham, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and many extended family members.

Special thanks to Faith Hospice of Michigan as well as the wonderful staff and members of the Michigan Veterans Home of Grand Rapids who quickly became close friends to both Tom and his family in his final weeks. We will miss his daily food pictures.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held in the spring at Grand Rapids Veterans Home Cemetery.
