Thomas Francis Grady

Thomas Francis Grady, age 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10, 2012. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having proudly served during WWII. He was also an avid golfer and a diehard Notre Dame fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice McCartin Grady; sons, Kevin and Michael; and daughter, Elizabeth. Surviving is a daughter, Pamela Grady of Columbia, Maryland; son, Patrick (Sandra) Grady of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, Kristen, Emily, Kaitlin, and Austin; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ribicki; and many other extended family members. A memorial mass in celebration of Thomas's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. N.E. with Rev. Tom Page officiating. The family will receive friends at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E. on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 3:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00.
