Charles Derrick Criniere was born on October 17,1978 to Gilbert and Kharis Ann Criniere. Charlie earned a bachelor's degree in Education from Northeastern Illinois University in 2002, and a master's degree in Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2019. He also earned an Education Specialist degree from Liberty University in 2022.
Charlie met Megan Sullivan in 2002, and they were married on June 26, 2004. They have 10 children and 1 grandchild. Charlie loved his family, teaching, sports, and people, but, most of all, he loved Jesus. His body may no longer be with us, but his spirit will live forever.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Megan (Sullivan), their children; Gabriel, Eliya, Mariah, Justice, Gloriana, Ava, David, Hope, Jubilee, and Caleb, and grandchild, Imani. He is also survived by his parents, Gilbert Criniere and Kharis Ann Tiam-Fook, and step mother, Vilma Criniere; siblings and their partners, Eric & Sandy, Jewell, Robin & Ugur, and Melissa & Diana. Charlie also leaves behind six nieces and nephews, extended family, and a large community of students and friends.
