I dont remember my exact age as a child but i think i was around 9 years old. It was just before my birthday and all i wanted was a collie just like lassie. I cried & cried & wined & begged him to get me lassie. On the evening of my 9th birthday he told me to go to the garage & retreive something for him & when i opened the door & stepped into the garage lassie was sitting there looking back at me.

My Father was a kind & loving. He was always fair. He always wanted the best for me. He did everything he could to try to make that happen.
