Debbie was born in 1961 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Robert Walker and Helen Jennings-Walker. She attended Belton High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and created lasting memories. Later in life, she pursued her passion for learning and earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting at Baker University.
On March 5, 1979, Debbie married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Fluette. Together, they built a life rooted in love and laughter. In 1980, they welcomed the only child into their life, their Daughter Jennifer, completing what Debbie often considered her greatest joy—her family. Over the years, their little family shared countless adventures, meaningful moments, and cherished memories.
Debbie will be remembered for her warm, upbeat personality and her genuine excitement in celebrating the milestones of those she loved. She had a true passion for cooking and found comfort and creativity spending time in her craft room. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be missed every day. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Bob Fluette; her daughter, Jennifer Duncan, and son-in-law, Donny Duncan; her nephew, Jody Hale, and his spouse, Jamie Hale; and her great-nieces, Abigail Hale and Brook Hale.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be planned for the spring or summer of 2026. Additional details will be shared with family and friends as they become available.
