Sorry to hear of Don's passing. I remember him from Grandview High School, also sister, Caroline and also worked with sister, Jan for a short time at Kirkwoods. I know you will miss him.

Knowing one of the members of this lovely family (Jan) tells me all I need to know to enjoy the fun and craziness of this beloved group of kids that grew up together.  This had to be such a fun family and with Don having 3 sisters, I say to him....bless your heart....that had to be such fun, (but tough too~LOL) you had to been caught in the middle all the time!!!!  You were such a perfect brother for all the girls and you will continue to watch other them always.  Don, I love your dear dear Sister Jan, and know she sure loves you.  May you feel everyone's love for your sisters and for you, you will always be such a part of them; even now in a very different but special way...what a dear guardian angel they all have now.

Don was a special friend,Don met  at the bus with huge Bull snakes.
He was a young Christian at Grandview

I believe Don woke up each day and chose to believe it a gift and to be fully present, giving everything he had to all his many friends and loved ones.  My family (myself,my husband, mother, nephen and stepdaughter will miss him very...very much.

Don's death leaves a huge hole in our Grandview Class of '56 family. He was a good friend.   Don was one of a kind and will truly be missed.  God bless and be with all your family.

Our families had a special connection - our Moms worked together, our Dads were close in scouting and Don & I were in the same class and were friends. I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing.  He was a good friend from Grandview High School and up until the present.  He will be missed.  My condolences go out to the family. He truly loved his family.

Our condolences to the family.  We all have fond memories of Don and his family growing up together in our neighborhood on 15th street and going to school with he and his sibblings and seeing him at school reunions over the years.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We will miss him so much at work, he was always full of antics and kept people smiling. He is very proud of his family and loved talking about them :)

He encouraged my photography and I enjoyed sending him new photos.

Don's memory lives on with us through the memory and positive influence he so lovingly showered upon us.  He has been a pleasure to know.  His humble approach to life challenges remains an inspiration.  His love of family has always shown brightly.  Don I will miss our almost weekly lunch breaks and cherish the memory of our conversations on all subjects.  You are a True friend.
