

Grace E. Barth, age 82, passed away following a hospitalization on Christmas Day, 2025. She
now joins her beloved husband, son, and daughter.
Grace was born in Potsdam, New York, to Lillian and Lloyd Boothe. She grew up in Northern
New York and graduated from St. Lawrence High School in 1962.
She married the love of her life, John K. Barth, on September 7, 1963. As an Air Force wife for
more than 20 years, Grace and her family traveled the world, living in Spain, Germany, and
Greece. Wherever she went, she made lasting friendships.
Grace was a top producer and award-winning Tupperware representative in Norfolk, Virginia,
and in the Greater Kansas City area, where she built strong relationships and encouraged others
to succeed.
She later worked as an accountant for MelBee’s Bar & Restaurant and Acosta Chiropractic. She
was known for her dependability, her attention to detail, and her strong work ethic. Later in life,
she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management in 2004.
She was active in TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly), often serving in leadership roles and
encouraging others. Grace also had a generous spirit. She loved to sew and was always willing to
help others, never asking for anything in return.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Barth; her son, John A. Barth; and her
daughter, Sharon Burton.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan and Laura; Susan’s wife, Charla Estrill; her daughter-in-law,
Shannon Barth; her sister, Susan Neugent, and her husband, Basil; her brother, Lloyd
Boothe; and her grandchildren, John Phillip Barth, Joleigh Barth, John Hill, Victor Hill, and Fred
Hill.
Grace will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the quiet way she cared for others.
