His parents Chester and Mary Flora, and sister Juanita VanderKooy, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Chuck Betty Flora, Betty Ramsey Michaels, Esther Doyle Willson, and Lucy Larry Clay; brother-in-law Ed VanderKooy; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - west building.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
