Alice D. Bailey

BAILEY Alice D. Bailey (Chamberlin), age 89, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her first husband Pat Hartwick; second husband Stanley Bailey; son Alan Hartwick; parents Bernice and George Chamberlin; brother Bud Chamberlin; and son-in-law Jeff Lambries. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Pat (Karen) Hartwick, Amy (James) "Lambries" Baker; Mary Hartwick, Doug Bailey, Amy (Mike) Barnes, nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren with one on the way; five brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Alice was an avid artist who did illustrations for Steketee's and Meijer in Grand Rapids, MI. Additionally, she was noted for her watercolor portraits, landscapes and still-lifes. Her greatest blessings were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation with the family will be held from 2 - 4 pm, Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville with a Vigil beginning at 3:30 pm. Prayer Service will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior at 10am.
