Alvin W. Greinke

GREINKE - Alvin W. Greinke, age 79 of Wyoming, passed away March 9, 2001 and went to be with his Lord. Mr. Greinke was a member of Grace Lutheran church for over 40 years. Alvin was a hard working perfectionist and a wonderful caregiver to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister Joan. Mr. Greinke is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary; three daughters, Mary Jane Ronald Van Dam of Cutlerville, Donna J. David Furtney of Ohio, Ruth Ann Jerry Welk of Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Florene Al Eisen of Grandville, Barbara Mel Owen of Jenison; two brothers-in-law, Frederick Gertrude Bing, Arghur Louella Bing; two sisters-in-law Ruth Arthur Verburg, Lola Al Steffen; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Grace Lutheran Church, 125 50th St. SW in Wyoming, with Pastor Robert Weidmayer officiating. Interment Allendale Towhship Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie St SW, in Grandville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Alvin will be greatly missed by his loving family.
