Andrew Haaksma

HAAKSMA - Andrew Haaksma, age 90, of Sunset Manor, went to be with His Lord, Thursday, November 2, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents Eelke and Freerkje Haaksma, three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Annie Koen; his children Elmer and Alice Haaksma, John and Mary Ann Haaksma, Helen and James Leep, Reynold Haaksma the late Joyce Haaksma, Gerrit Haaksma, Itwin and Mary Haaksma, Andy and Rose Haaksma, Ted and Lena Haaksma, the late Freda Ann Haaksma, Freda Haaksma, Benjamin and Sue Haaksma, Betty and Jerry Ferman; and his precious 34 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law Alice Menno Feenstra, Betty Vriend; and many nieces and nephews.

A time to visit with Andrew’s family will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church, 2450 85th St. SW.
