Anne Burgess

Anne Burgess, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, March 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frederick Burgess; her parents Leonard and Grace VandenBerg; son-in-law, Ken Meidema and sister Lori Kloosterman. She will be lovingly missed by her children Barb (Bob) Veldheer, Jerry (Kathy) Burgess, Sharon (Ron) Miedema-Dykhouse, Noreen (Brian) Zandstra, Jim (Kristi) Burgess, 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, siblings Betty Bazan, Ken (Margaret) VandenBerg, Mel (Lorraine) VandenBerg, Linda (Vic) Berkompas, Larry (Greta) VandenBerg; sister-in-laws Gerry VanSweden, Jo Strating and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anne loved the Lord with all of her heart and was an active member at Corinth Reformed Church for 66 years. She was a servant to all whom she came in contact with.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Corinth Reformed Church, 129 100th St. SE Byron Center, MI 49315 with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.
