Anthony "Tony" Talsma

On Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015, Tony Talsma went to be with his faithful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tony retired from a very successful career as an onion and celery farmer at the age of 55.

He and Bea were able to enjoy many years together of traveling and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandson Daniel Talsma and Tony's eight siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Beatrice "Bea" with whom he celebrated 66, years of marriage; their children Al (Wanda) Talsma and Sandra (Al) Bosma; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his sister Polly Overlease; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church, 1945 84th St., S.W., Byron Center, with Pastor Audred Spriensma officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St. as well as one hour prior to service on Saturday at the church.
