
God granted a gift by lending us the embodied spirit of Antoinette B. Galloway for 82 years. She shared her love, generosity, kindness and grace with all of those who knew and loved her. She will look forward to her reunion with those who preceded her to Heaven’s gate. Antoinette will live on in the hearts and memories of those she left behind.
Mrs. Galloway was preceded in death by her husband Richard; one sister Katherine Shepard; two brothers, Louis and Joseph Chenier. She is survived by her children, Frances Wyn, Jerry Baker, Frank Deletha Baker, Daniel Pamela Baker, Beth Carl Whitener, Gary Joanne Galloway; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Loretta Baker, Geraldine Harry Lovewell, Charlotte Miller, Frances Johnson; one sister-in-law, Marianne Chenier; one brother-in-law, Merle Shepard; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from Cook Memorial Chapel east building with Chaplain Carol L. Flietstra officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St SW, in Grandville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan. Those unable to attend the visitation or funeral service may visit the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralhome.com.
