Betsy Walker

She is deeply missed by her husband of 33 years, Jim Walker; her daughters Amanda Walker, and Brooke (Cody) Perry; granddaughters Kieley and Ashlyn; her parents David and Linda Lester; mother-in-law, Marilyn Walker; brother, Brian (Nola) Lester, and Alyssa; special uncle and aunt, Gerald (Cyrena) Lester; special cousins Mark Lester and Kelley (Bryan) Callies; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Betsy first and foremost loved her family and her family loved her. She was one of a kind and was devoted and loving to her family. She always thought of others before herself by being a friend to those she met. Her hobbies included gardening, going to the beach, swimming, baking, going on "girls’ weekend," and spending time with Kieley.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with a time for sharing memories at 7 p.m.

In memory of Betsy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods.
