Betty June Perkins

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Naomi Perkins; her sister, Lois Reterstorf; and her brothers, Leon and Jerry Perkins.

Betty is survived by her sister, Nancy Karsten; her brothers, Alfred (Carol) Perkins, Paul (Marcia) Perkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty’s family would like to thank the staff who took care of her so wonderfully at The Lodge at Maple Creek, now known as Samaritas. Betty enjoyed coloring; her pictures decorate many rooms and doors at her place of residence. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble and Yahtzee, at which she was the master of throwing a Yahtzee.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building) in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW. Visitation with the family will be from Noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In honor of Betty, contributions may be made to Samaritas, 2000 - 32nd St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
