

Bonnie Lou Conrad, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Conrad Sr.; daughter-in-law, Loellen Conrad; grandson, Chad Veenendall; parents Reynold and Dena Bos; siblings Harvey, Harriett, Gladys, and Jeanne. She will be lovingly missed by her children Pamela (Larry) Conrad-Thomas, Ted Jr. (Sandra) Conrad, Rick Conrad, Suzanne (Craig) Van Assen, Nanette (Tim) Heavner, Brad (Linda) Conrad, Sharron (Collin) Ballard; grandchildren Marci (Jeff) Clay, Ted III (Jill) Conrad, Jennifer Conrad-Holst, Kate (Tim) Bruinsma, Erin (Ryan) Fischer, Stephanie (Doug) Jacobi, Nick (Lindsey) Conrad, TJ (Stephanie) Conrad, Jason (Brooke) Van Assen, Kara (Ross) Poll, Deena (Jeff) Vroegindewey, Mandi McDuffee, Rick (Beth) Thurkettle, Matt Thurkettle, Drew (Hollie) Schrotenboer, Blake Schrotenboer, Jaimee Conrad, Ashley Conrad, Colson Conrad, Don (Veronica) Ballard, Kayla (Luke) Greydanus; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; siblings Tom (Mary) Bos and Dave Bos; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bonnie's beauty radiated throughout her life. She held many beauty titles including Aviation Queen, Snow Queen, Homecoming Queen at Ottawa Hills, and modeled professionally after graduating high school. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Bonnie enjoyed painting, knitting, golfing, decorating her home, and giving the best advice. Most of all, she loved watching her kids and grandkids in sports. She often said, "If I had a nickel for every time I sat on a bleacher, I would be a rich woman." She volunteered at Metro Health Hospital and The Voight House. She had deep compassion for children with disabilities and enjoyed her part-time job transporting them to and from school. She wholeheartedly served her church, her family, and her friends.
Visitation with Bonnie’s family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (Cook Memorial Chapel), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. April 12, 2022, with an hour of visitation prior to service at Newhall Community Church, 3746 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming.
