Charles Loux

Charles Loux, Sr., age 84, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was preceded by his first wife, Ruth Loux; his second wife, Grace (Engelsma) Loux; his great grandson, Justin Loux; and by many of his brothers and sisters.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his children, Charles (Evalenna) Loux, Jr., Sharon (Ron) Frans, Mark (Lisa) Loux; his grandchildren, Amy Kolp, Michelle (Frank) Barone, Heather (Jeremiah) McNeil, Melisa Johnson, Matt (Tammie) Loux, Mike (Jackie) Loux; his 9 great grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Van Drunen, Madeline Vander Werf, Josephine (Sonny)Morgan; step-children, Greg (Elaine) Engelsma, Thomas (Tracy) Engelsma; his many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles retired from Roadway Express where he drove for 33 years.

A time for visiting with Charles' family will be held from 2 to 5 PM Sunday at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building). Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th St., with visitation prior to the service beginning at 1 PM. Rev. Kenneth Koole will be officiating. Interment at Floral View Memorial Gardens. In honor of Charles, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice a?" Trillium Woods or American Heart Society.
