IN THE CARE OF
Cook Funeral and Cremation Services
Colton William Hunt, age 27 of Grandville, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Colton was preceded in death by William J Richards, from whom his middle name stemmed. He will be remembered by his mother, Laura Hunt; father, Donnie Hunt; siblings Weston (Molly and Truitt) and Hallie; furbabies Luci and Lily; grandparents Vernon Hunt (Deby), June Richards, and Sally Muskat; as well as many cousins and countless friends.
Colton graduated from Grandville High School in 2012, where he varsity lettered all four years in wrestling while lettering twice in football. He furthered his education and football career at Albion College, graduating in 2016. While at Albion he received his bachelor of arts degree and pledged at ATO fraternity. Colton had an immense love for animals, sports, traveling, family, friends, and the great outdoors. As a devoted movie
buff, bookworm, gamer, and concert-goer, it was evident he clearly enjoyed art in many forms. Colton had many works of writing that he hoped to one day have published.
A memorial visitation with relatives and friends will take place from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. When in attendance, we kindly ask that all non-vaccinated guests wear a face covering and practice social distancing for their safety and the well-being of the family.
In honor of Colton and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the GoFundMe account located online. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
