

Coly Vander Werf, age 22, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, March 17, 2012, as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glenn Ingalls and Richard Vander Werf.
Coly will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Bruce and Dawn (Ingalls) Vander Werf; his siblings, Andy (Rhonda), Lottie, and Essie Vander Werf; his grandmothers, Doris Ingalls and Loretta Vander Werf; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He graduated from Zeeland West High School in 2007. Coly worked as a machinist at Blackmer Pump in Grand Rapids. He loved his car and his motorcycle, but most of all he loved hanging around home with his brother and his friends. Coly enjoyed gaming a?" especially Call of Duty and Guitar Hero... and he was really good at video games in general.
A time for visiting with Coly's family will be held 6 to 9 PM Thursday at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building). Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday at First Baptist Church in Zeeland, 246 West Main Street. In honor of Coly, contributions may be made to West Michigan Spina Bifida Organization.
