Palmer – D. Jane Palmer, age 98, of Grandville, MI and formerly of Logansport, Indiana, passed away December 15, 2015 at the Brookcrest Nursing Home, Grandville, Michigan. She was born on February 3, 1917 in Logansport, IN the daughter of the late Alva and Snow (Cullen) Hayworth. She married Russell Jacob Palmer on October 19, 1941. He preceded her in death in 2001.
D. Jane is survived by her grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Ziegler, Russell (Myrta) Palmer; a daughter-in-law, Bobbi Palmer; six great-grandchildren; and one nephew Larry (Marsha) Wissinger. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Edith; and one son R. Jay Palmer.
In accordance with the wishes of D. Jane, no formal services will be held. A private family interment will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, Indiana at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Faith Hospice.
