Mrs. Dagmar was a wonderful, Godly woman, and she will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a thoughtful teacher to us all-- I have often bragged that during my education I had a teacher who cared enough to ensure her students understood basic etiquette before entering "real life." I am certain she touched more lives than either she or her family could imagine. Our prayers are with you all during this time.

I will always remember and be grateful for Dagmar and her willingness to pray for me. She many times faithfully kept me covered with prayer as I ministered in Africa. On my trip in '08, I was greatly blessed by her faithful praying as it was a difficult trip with much risk and conflict. The strength of her spirit will remain in my memories.

Dagmar volunteered to help build the playground structure at Hager Park in Jenison. I had the pleasure of meeting her then. She was a delight to work with and showed the contribution to community that was a constant in her life. We will all miss her, even those who never had the pleasure of her direct company.

To Dagmar's family: I am so sorry for your loss. Dagmar was a wonderful teacher and later, a true friend to our family. When our daughter spent a month at Devos and then was back and forth for treatments, Dagmar worked at the front desk of the hospital. She became a real bright spot in our day during our stay. Every morning she would hug me and ask me: "How's Kenna today?" Her love and compassion for us during that time was a true breath of fresh air. Dear David, Leanne, and the rest of the Muma family, I was grieved to hear of Dagmar's passing. She was a beloved friend and colleague for many years. She challenged me personally and professionally with her example of loving her students in very tangible ways. I remember the "big" things that she did, like the "weddings" in her Family Living class, and "small" things like lifting up students in prayer at devotions. She started the NHS chapter here at Tri-unity, and many students have been honored as a direct result of her efforts. It was a loss to our school when she moved on to other professional challenges. You are in our prayers.

Dear Muma Family and Brock Family, I had the pleasure of meeting Dagmar in a college course we took together through Western Michigan University. We became good friends in a very short time. Dagmar is a very gracious and delightful person to be around. During the course, we had many laughs working on projects together. I remember the lovely dinner I shared with her husband, Richard, and brother, Aaron. Moments like these are very special in life and time cannot diminish them. Jeff & Katie, Cheryl & Craig, Dave & Leanne, grandkids & Brock Family... We want to express our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time. Words cannot express the disbelief and extreme grief we felt when we heard the news. Your mom and I last saw each other at Bible Study in November, and had I known-I would have hugged her a little harder, listened a little closer, or told her how much she truly meant to us. We will always remember your mom as a loving, caring and compassionate woman of God. She was an intercessor, a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. She poured her life out to her family, friends, students and countless others. Besides teaching bookkeeping, speech and many other subjects at Tri-Unity, more importantly she taught us how to walk with Christ. She made everyone feel like they mattered and she always looked you straight in the eye, as though she was looking right into your very soul. Her humility, grace and selflessness will live on in our hearts forever. May God wrap His loving arms around you all, and comfort you with the positive memories and the good times you shared together as a family. Dagmar was such a beautiful person. She was so kind and always kept tabs on me through my Mom Donna Hill. When I saw her, she always greeted me with a warm smile and hug. Dagmar will be sorely missed by so many who loved her, her P.E.O. sisters included. She was a wonderful woman, a true friend, so spiritually grounded, a loving mother and incredibly proud grandmother, a fun hostess I recall great B.I.L. events both before and after Richard's passing. She always had a kind word and a smile and, regardless of her own burdens, always inquired after others and shared her loving concern. I'll treasure fond memories of time with her. Dear Muma Family, Dagmar was a wonderful sweet person. I knew her from coming into the Rivertown Citgo station on Rivertown Parkway. She always wore a smile when she came in. I really enjoyed talking with her, especially when she helped me after my husband passed away...she was such a joy when she entered the station.
