David Mazurkiewicz

On Saturday, September 10, 2022, Dave Mazurkiewicz passed away at the age of 44. Dave is survived by his two sons Beckham and Brody Mazurkiewicz; parents Dave and Joan Mazurkiewicz; twin brother, Mike (Kate) Mazurkiewicz; sister, Michelle (Mark) Heinen; nieces Ava (goddaughter) and Brooklyn Mazurkiewicz.

Those who had the pleasure of meeting Dave could attest that he had a gift for captivating those around him with charm and warmth, paired with a remarkable sparkle in his eye. This would serve him well in his career as Allied Roofing's #1 salesman alongside his best friend, Mike. Dave was one half of a charismatic duo, often referred to synonymously as "the boys" by those who knew them. They were not only identical twin brothers, but the best of friends throughout all of their days as well.

Beckham and Brody were the loves of Dave's life. His spirits lifted whenever they were together and the time they spent together brought him his greatest joys. A sports fanatic, he was passionate about coaching little league and quite content to cuddle up with his boys to watch football. Through this special bond, Dave passed along to his sons his other great passion, his unwavering love of the Detroit Lions. May they provide his sons the same joy, maybe even a play-off win, in their lifetimes.

A celebration of his life will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan.
