David Michael Rapin

David was preceded in death by his father, Edward; mother, Florence; brother, Edward; and dog, Eddie, his best furry friend. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Caroline; his children Michael (fiancée Kelly), Douglas, Rebecca (boyfriend Sam); grandson, Noah; his brothers and sisters Mary-Margaret, Florence, Frank, Donald, Joanie, Therese, Michelle and Melissa.

In Dave’s earlier years he was always the life of the party and had a true love for people. He was the best host with the loudest laugh in the room. He went through many hills and valleys throughout his life.

Dave spent 30 years in the retail business. You always knew good things happened when you talked to Dave Rapin.

A memorial service will be held on Black Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Family will receive visitors two hours prior to service.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of David, donations may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
