Do Van Cuong

Do Van Cuong, age 78, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023. Vuong was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his grandchildren dearly. He was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States in 1993 to give his children a better life. He was a hardworking man who was always there for his family. His greatest joy was making his grandchildren laugh.

Vuong will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Phung (Trinh) Do; children Hung (Linh) Do, Dung (Thu) Do, Vinh (Hong Phuc) Do, and Hien (Justin) Slagel; ten grandchildren Jason, Brendon, and Ethan Hung, Kevin and Andy Dung, Faith and Theresa Vinh, and Alexa, Elizabeth and Layla Hien.

Visitation with Cuong’s family and friends will be held from 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville.

Visitation for Cuong will be held from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, Michigan. A graveside service will be held immediately after Vuong's service at Georgetown Cemetery.
