Surviving are his wife Jean; his children, April Barnes and her husband Dale Kerlin of Oregon and Eric Barnes of Mt. Clemens; his granddaughter Walies Barnes-Kerlin; his brother Robert Diane Barnes of Illinois.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2002 at Grandville United Methodist Church.
