Edward Zylstra

ZYLSTRA - Edward Zylstra, age 81 of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, May 3, 2001. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Carl Workman. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Grace; his children, Carol Workman, Marvin Marcia Zylstra; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister and brothers, Edna Spoelman, Martin Katherine Zylstra, John Angeline Zylstra, Alvin Pat Zylstra; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennie Mingerink, John Josephine Doorn, victor Mary Ondersma, Clarence Clara Post. The funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Second Christian Reformed Church of Byron Center with Rev. John Gorter officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St., in Byron Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakewood Christian School in Lake Odessa, MI.
