HAVILAND - Elizabeth (Betty) A. Haviland, 89, of Grand Rapids , went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2017, after a long illness. Born on March 21, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland, Betty grew up in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. She attended Georgetown University Nursing program and was a Registered Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy L. Haviland, her daughter, Ruth Crame, her parents and brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, June Haviland (and Greg Weaver); her son-in-law Ron Crame; grandchildren, Nick (Jenn) Hanline and Beth Hanline; "step-grandchildren" Ashley Weaver and Casey Weaver; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Rodriguez and Justin Hanline; her sister, Mary Duvall; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions are requested to be made to Fulton Manor of Grand Rapids or Faith Hospice, both of which her family will be eternally grateful to for the loving care they provided these past few years.
