Elizabeth Jane Tompkins

TOMPKINS-Elizabeth Jane Tompkins age 85 of Grandville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday May 25, 2011 after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was preceded in death by her grandson Stephan Kerkstra.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Farrell Tompkins; her children, Sue (Gary Bernauer) Nelson, Scott Tompkins, Mike (Jan) Tompkins, Lynda (Bob) Schut, Lisa (Terry) Kerkstra; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her brothers, James (Lenora) Waller, Donald Waller and sister Carolyn (John) Korstange; her in-laws Norm (Dorothy) Tompkins, Barb Tompkins and Ruth (Sam) Clinger.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 pm Saturday at Newhall Community Church, 3746 Byron Center, Wyoming with Rev. Tom Bos officiating. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfamilycares.com. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to services on Saturday.
