Elnore Marie VerBurg

ELNORE MARIE VERBURG (CHAMPION) On Monday March 26 Elnore Marie VerBurg (Champion) age 89 of Jenison, went to Heaven peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior with her family at her side. Elnore was born February 23, 1923 in Marne, Michigan. Elnore was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Harold J. VerBurg, her parents Leon and Julia Champion, her brother Arvon and sisters Gertrude and MariLou.

She is survived by sons, Daniel (Jeannean) VerBurg, Thomas (LaVonne) VerBurg and daughter Elizabeth (Larry) Zwartenkot; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; brother Wendall (Barbara) Champion; brother-in-law Donald (Thelma) VerBurg. Visitation will be at Cook Funeral Home in the Jenison Chapel, 1889 Baldwin, Thursday, March 29 from 6 to 8 PM. The memorial service will be Friday at 1 PM March 30 at the Cook Funeral Home Jenison Chapel. Her final resting place will be at the Marne Cemetery.
