Erik Hanson

HANSON Erik Hanson, age 43, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, May 19, 2014, in his home. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Hanson. Erik is survived by his parents, Dale and Judy Hanson; his sister, Wendy (William) Batchelder; his nephews and niece, Matthew (Miranda) Batchelder, Audrea (Troy) Case, Jordan Batchelder; and his great niece and nephew, Mieneke and Mercer Batchelder.

Erik had a magnetic personality; everyone loved him. He was a professional fisherman and recently worked at Vander Veen's Dutch Store. Erik was an amazing drummer at a very young age and used his gift playing in the praise and worship team at church. He was a great uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 24, at Grand Rapids First - Prayer Chapel, 2100 44th St. SW. with visitation prior to the services beginning at 10 AM.
