Florence M. Sjaarda

Florence Marie Sjaarda, age 87, passed away on November 14, 2020 due to Covid-19. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Orrie Sjaarda; daughter, Nancy Ross; and her son, Michael A. Sjaarda. She is survived by her children Thomas (Christine) Sjaarda, Sally (Rob) Holyfield; nine grandchildren Michael W. Sjaarda, Caitlin (Mike) Voyt, Mary Sjaarda, Ryan (Ashley) Ross, Daniel (Karen) Sjaarda, Jessica (Brett) Haney, Daniel Holyfield, Paul Holyfield, Hope Holyfield; and four great-grandchildren. Flo loved her alma mater, Marywood Academy, her husband of 60 years, Orrie and her children and grandchildren, retirement in Daytona Beach, and ice cream. She will be greatly missed and remembered so fondly. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Flo will be laid to rest next to Orrie at Grandville Cemetery.
