Forrest Forry James Rawlings

He is survived by his children, Denise Vredeveld, Darcy Jamie Garlock, Deb John Jr. VanderWal, Dawn Bruce Neymeiyer, Diane Mark Potter, Derek Rawlings; grandchildren, Jennifer and Stephanie Vredeveld, Nicole, Jamie, Bob Schram, and Trevor Garlock, Jacob and Courtney VanderWal, Alycia, and Marissa VanDrunen, and Krista Neymeiyer, Lauren, Travis, Eric and Olivia Potter; great grandchildren, Skylar Wells and Tyler Schram; brother Jerry Diane Rawlings; brothers-in-law, Clifton Barbara Schoonmaker, and Larry Susan Schoonmaker; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Forrest was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Patricia; parents Gerald W. and Thelma E. Rawlings; and granddaughter Rochelle Potter.

The funeral service celebrating Forrest's life will be held at the Georgetown United Methodist Church 2466 Baldwin at 1 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Joe Bistayi officiating.

Interment will be in Bradley Indian Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - east building.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
