Franklin Thomas Wickham

Franklin Thomas Wickham of Ravenna, Michigan, passed away March 19, 2025. He married Lois Zelia Wickham July 10, 1951, in Muskegon, Michigan. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2018. Frank is survived by his son, Mark A. Wickham of Ravenna; six daughters Mary Lynn (Anthony) Arbanas of Grand Rapids, Sally (Arthur) VanDyke of Missouri, Linda (Randy) Franks of Grand Rapids, Andrea (John) Baker of Lakeview, Cecilia Omlor of Ravenna, and Melody Wagner of Muskegon; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way; his special “girlfriend” and hairdresser, Christine Liszewski; and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was also preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Alex Buentello; sons-in-law Alan McNitt and Thomas Wagner; and his siblings, Henrietta Ask, Reuben Wickham, Evelyn Gauthier, Gladys Fleese, Katheryn King, Annie Kennedy, Fred Wickham, and Ina Bennett.

Frank loved playing music; he learned to play many different instruments by ear. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved his family - especially their cookouts together.

Funeral services for Frank will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Foundations Church Ravenna, 3327 Mortimer St., Ravenna, Michigan 49451, with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. at church prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Foundations Church Ravenna.
