
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 37 years Sheila; daughters, April Roy Hiscock of SC, and Dawn Woodburn and her fiancAC. Jefferson Wilkerson of Grand Rapids; a very special part of his life, were his precious grandchildren, Caylyn and Codey; brothers and sisters, Ron Margaret Woodburn, Marilyn Fred Heileman, Larry Rachel Woodburn, and Linda Thomas Corcoran; brother-in-law, Roger Vinkemulder; sisters-in-law, Karen Raxter and Sharon Vinkemulder; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothea Woodburn and his sister Nancy DeJonge.
He graduated from Grandville High School in 1964.
He was known by his classmates as a 3 sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball.
Gary was a gifted trim carpenter working as a subcontractor for many years.
He will always be remembered as a wonderful, kind, and generous man who above all, loved his family.
Gary’s family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building 4235 Prairie St. SW.
