Gerald Lee Koetje

KOETJE - Mr. Gerald Lee Koetje, age 56 of Byron Center, passed away Thursday, October 28, 1999 and went to be with his Lord. He was an employee of Steelcase for 33 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mary Koetje and one sister Crystal Mae Koetje. Surviving are his wife Donna Mae of 35 years; his children, Brian and Elaine Koetje and their children Mitchell and Lauren, Jeff and Noelle Koetje, Chad and Tina Koetje; his father and mother-in-law Dr. Rev. Fredric and Viola Dolfin; his brothers and sisters, Willard and Billie Koetje, Anna Bernice Inman, Claressa and Bill Crater, Marilyn and Rol Siereveld, Wilma and Ron Hirdes, Russell and Carol Koetje, Glenn and Delynn Koetje; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. from Woodhaven Reformed Church with Pastor Brad Langstraat officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW. Memorial contributions may be left to the Brian Bush Memorial Fund of St. Jude's Hospital.
