My deepest sympathy to you Mr Blumer and your children. I am Lucille's daughter. It saddens me to know my mom ,Lucilles heart broke when she hear Geri passed away. For years I heard all the stories about Geri and my mom in Germany. Geri was my moms first friend when she arrived in Germany 52 yrs ago ,to meet my dad in the service. Geri helped her get an apartment and show her the ropes of over seas. My mom was only 18 yrs old and newly married. All theses years mom and Geri would keep in touch by phone ,cards ,or letters. The neighborhood won't be the same without Geri. Her meticulous landscaping and fond memories of waving across the street to her as she zipped around on her lawnmower will be sorely missed. Our lives have been enriched because we had the opportunity to know her. Prayers of comfort to Marion and the family during this very sad time.

Mr. Blumer and Glen and Sally,
 So sorry to hear about your wife and mother. We are praying for you and wish we could be there. I still remember working on the trailer in Sand Lake to try to keep it dry inside. Ken and I wish so much that we could have been at Geri's memorial service to personally express our deepest sympathy to Marion, Lore, Geno and the rest of the family. Ever since our Sally met your Glen at Hope College in 1982 and married him in 1985, we have enjoyed knowing all of you as extended family. When we have visited Michigan in recent years, we have had brief, but wonderful, visits on Harold St. Geri was amazing. No one would ever have guessed her age. She was a role model for energetically living life right up until the last minute. We will miss her. Love to all of you,
