Herb had many joys in life such as spending time with his family and watching old western movies, but most of all he cherished being a grandpa to his two granddaughters. He had a way of making life a little brighter-whether it be through a warm smile, kind words, or a funny story. Herb will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family as well as his resilience through hardships and faith in God’s plan.
Herb is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger; their two children Lisa (Michael) and Daniel; granddaughters Jaylee and Kylee; and siblings Bob (Cala) and Ualina (Brian). Herb was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Judith.
A funeral service for the family will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Herbert will be laid to rest at Riverbend Cemetery in Walker, MI. In memory of Herbert and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of West Michigan.
