ERNST – Herman H. Ernst, age 85, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 5, 2009. He was preceded in death on September 13, 2009 by his wife of 64 years, Bethel Hendrick Ernst. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, William H Susan Ernst and Janet Max Shangle; granddaughter, Hope Shangle; sister, Elta VanderVeer; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Herman was a decorated veteran of both WWII and the Korean Conflict.
According to his wishes, no visitation or service will be held at this time.
