SLAGTER - Hilda Slagter, age 90 of Grandville, went to be with her Lord Friday, January 7, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband William; son-in-law Gerritt Dyksterhouse Sr. Surviving are her children, Roger Joy Slagter of Hudsonville, Therrey Dyksterhouse of Grandville, Darless Norm Lehtomaki of Edmonds, WA; grandchildren, Lori Ken Fredricks, Charles Flipse, Julie Slagter, Gerritt Tara Dyksterhouse Jr., Kira Lehtomaki; five step grandchildren; four great grandsons; one great granddaughter; and 13 step great grandchildren; sister Jeanette Dykstra of Cutlerville and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, with Pastor James Groendyke officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.
