Irene Marie Hyde

She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Hyde; her sisters, Doris Bell and Margaret Blasen; and her brother William Barrett.

She is survived by her children, Marlene Hooker, Kay Leroy Genther, Bruce Mary Hyde, Robert Geri Hyde, Doris Jean Chuck Mehlberg, and Janice John Inghram; and her grandchildren, Julie Craig, Jim Hooker, David, Robert, and Ken Genther, Terry Hyde, Diane Force, Brian Hyde, Beth Veldhouse, Lisa Janz, Amy, David, Sue, and Deanna Hyde, Deb Martindale, Shelly Wick, and Jill and Jenna Inghram; her 33 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Iolene Hyde of Ithaca; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church 2459 146th Ave..

Interment will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 84th St. SW.

The Rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and a Prayer Vigil will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Educational Foundation or to a Charity of One's Choice.

May the road rise with you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God keep you in the hollow of his hand.
