James M. Givens

He was employed there as a Medical Technician Specialist in the local hospital.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Larry and Mary Kay Givens of Jenison. He was the loving older brother of Shannon who preceded him in death in 1993. Dearly loved nephew of Jean Hessenius, Patricia Wolf, Martin Thuerk, Thomas Debra Thuerk, Kathleen John Siran, Laura Thomas Berwick and Yvonne Givens. Devoted Grandson of James and Maria Givens and Kathleen and the late Martin Thuerk. Loved by several cousins and friends.

Jim lived life as a very adventurous outdoorsman to the fullest. He touched everyone with his generous of heart to strangers, family and friends. He will be will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation Sunday, September 25, 2005 at Cook Funeral Home, Jenison Chapel, 1889 Baldwin, Jenison from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin Drive, Jenison.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to Make a Wish Foundation.
