
Jim was born on July 28, 1947 in Grand Rapids to Willis and Margaret Mulder.
Jim grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Kenowa Hills High School in 1965.
Jim was an avid outdoor person who loved to work and build homes, and he achieved whatever he could in his life.
He especially loved beautifying semi trucks and vehicles with his self taught talent for fabrication and detail which he shared with his son Paul.
Jim also enjoyed restoring his home in Grandville with the love of his life Karen Mack and their two dogs Pokey and Ginger.
Jim always had a zest for life and enjoyed the company of many who loved knowledge and conversation.
He was always there for someone in need and was thrilled to be helping his mother with her new home in Muskegon following her move from Florida. Jim was a very talented man who shared many of his talents and values of life with others.
Jim’s warm heart was there for the ones he loved and anyone who needed him.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Willis Arthur Mulder and his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother Margaret Mulder of Muskegon; daughter Ruth Marie Munich of Jenison; son Paul James Mulder of Grand Rapids; brothers, Geoff Mulder of CA, and Jack Mulder of FL; sister Julie Mockerman of Muskegon; his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his one true love Karen Mae Mack.
According to Jim’s wishes there will be no funeral home services or visitation.
Contributions in memory of Jim may be made to Kent County Humane Society.
