Jon and Joel and families, Your family was such a big part of my growing up. I can't begin to know what you are going through. You all are in my prayers. One memory of Jim is when I was young and it was around Halloween. I remember looking across the street and there in the front window was Jim dressed in a puffy slip and bra and hat. He was all dressed up for a party and was posing for the neighbors. I think we have a picture of it. I think of your mom often. She was a great person and now she, your dad and Jay are all together. Take care and know that old and new friends are thinking and praying for you.

Jon and Joel and families, You were younger but your parents were a big part of our first years of wrestling here in Jenison. They use to take me Linnto the matches with them and your Mom was a good friend of mine. Jay managed and wrestled for Bill - We were so sorry to see of his passing and now your Dad's - our thoughts are with you - they were great people - all three of them.

Dear Vermetti family, and friends,
 I met James Vermetti at the Visser YMCA. He always wore a white t-shirt, gray sweats, and his "Slim Jim" weight-lifting belt. He was my gym pal; and would kid me about being "Dutch". He, a "dago," had to live with the Dutch in Jenison, and had two Dutch bosses. He was so interesting, and funny. I stopped going to the YMCA for the last 3 years, and lost touch with Jim. I am saddened by his death; but am glad that I got to know him, and that he is now in Heaven. I am very sorry for your loss. God Bless You.
