Jerry L. Peck

Jerry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary; his children, Kristin and Terry Milnamow and Dustin and Renee Peck, all of Jenison; grandchildren, Braden, Camden, Lainie, and Joey Milnamow. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Peck, of Grandville; his brother and sisters, Bill (Deb) Peck, Melode LaHuis, and Jane (Craig) Bykerk; Mary's brothers and sisters, Jack (Cheryl) Wustman, Cyndy (Dan) Kopp, JT (Katy) Wustman, and Joannie (Scott) Bouman; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, including his Vietnam Army buddies and the guys from Tuesday Garage Night. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Peck, and Mary's parents, John and Jurane Wustman.

Jerry was a 1967 graduate of Grandville High School and an Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam and earning a Silver Star for gallantry in action and a Bronze Star for heroic achievement. He retired, after 33 years, from Steelcase. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and anything that took him outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and gardening. Jerry's family would like to thank the staff from the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, Lacks Cancer Center, and Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods for their expert, and loving, care of Jerry.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Jerry's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday, November 2, at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building). Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, November 3, at South Blendon Reformed Church, 4817 Port Sheldon. Rev. Greg Lubbers will be officiating. Interment will be at Blendon Cemetery.
