

Joanna Farah, age 64, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Hazel Ziomkowski; in-laws Ed and Joyce Farah; brothers Rick Ziomkowski and Joe Burba; brother-in-law, Tom Marckini. She is survived by her sons Eddie Jr. (Jenn) Farah and Ray (Alyssa) Farah; their father, Ed Farah; grandchildren Mia, Adrian, Logan, Thea, Savannah, and Brooklynn; great-granddaughter, Alianna; companion, Ken Mitz and his daughters Karen Bennett and Eileen (Steve) Smalley; siblings Kim Ziomkowski, Carol Burba, Dan (Cindy) Farah, Chris (Paul) Morway, Teresa (Paul) Fosburg; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joanna enjoyed garage saling and flea markets where she could fuel her passion for collecting antiques. She also loved crafting, making gift baskets, and playing LCR and card games with her family. Joanna spent most summers while the kids were growing up on the Muskegon River Hardy Dam pond where they would camp and boat. She also loved going to car shows with Ken. Most of all she loved spoiling her kids and grandkids.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 5 p.m. A dessert reception will follow.
