John Edwin Gingrich

GINGRICH Mr. John Edwin Gingrich, age 82, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. John was born to Oliver and Alice (Norton) Gingrich on December 20, 1928. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, and his sister, Phyllis Walenga. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Ellen (Wendell) Nelson, Elizabeth (John III) Challa, and Carol (Thom) Engelsman; grandchildren, Paula (Mike) Shannon, Bonnie (Garrett) Walworth, John Challa IV, Tim Engelsman, Lauren Challa, and Ben Engelsman; great grandchildren, Steven, and Megan; sister and brother, Barbara (Verne) Metcalf, and Larry (Audrey) Gingrich; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM, at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, with Pastor Ralph Biedler officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet John's family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home.
