John Wiggers of Wyoming, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was born on May 24, 1965 in Zeeland, Michigan to Jarvis and Elizabeth Wiggers (Lambers), who preceded his death in 1972 and 2006, respectively. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Bill (Barb) Jordan.
John married Tina (Teresa) Lowing on August 25, 1990. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year. John is survived by his wife, Tina (Lowing) Wiggers; children Alyssa Wiggers, Zack Wiggers, and Lucas Wiggers, all of Wyoming, Michigan; his siblings Barb Jordan (Wiggers) of Palm Harbor, Florida, Paul and Beth Wiggers of Hudsonville, Jim and Celeste DeWitt (Wiggers) of Allendale, Gary Laug of West Olive, Larry Laug of West Olive, Rob and Deb Kamp (Laug) of West Olive, and Doug and Patti Dykstra (Laug) of Spring Lake. He is also survived by his in-laws Duane and Rita Lowing (Struik) of Kentwood; his brother-in-law, Timothy Lowing of Grand Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
John graduated from Coopersville High School in 1983 and was proudly a part of the marching band that his father directed. John was extremely dedicated to his career in the beverage industry, having worked at Brooks Beverage for 10 years and Pepsi Bottling Group for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, sports, spending time with his family, boating, going up north to the family cottage, and the Michigan State Spartans. John was a dedicated family man who loved to make people laugh and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved household projects and always taught himself how to do new things. John loved to entertain, had an infectious laugh, and loved to sing in his church. John dedicated his life to the Lord and looked forward to nothing more than being reunited with his mother and father in heaven.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 and 5 - 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Fellowship Reformed Church with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that all donations be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of John's mother Elizabeth and father Jarvis, and The American Heart Association in memory of John.
